ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ Earns 10-Year Reaccreditation
The Institutional Actions Council of the Higher Learning Commission has officially reaffirmed the 10-year accreditation of ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ, Provost Dr. Mia Hardy announced.
Accreditation ensures that the academic credits and credentials earned by DU students are recognized beyond the university and are transferable to other institutions—and that the university is providing students with a high-quality education.
The HLC reaccreditation peer review team visited campus on March 24 and 25, meeting with various community members and stakeholders. The team also reviewed the university’s Assurance Argument, a 100-page report detailing how the ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ meets the HLC’s five criteria for reaccreditation.
A preliminary report from the HLC followed in April, noting that ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ had met all five HLC criteria without concerns.
DU’s next reaffirmation of reaccreditation will take place in 2034-35.
